The Business of Human Performance:
Having Your Mental State Right at Work and Home
For many of us, work is a focal point of our lives. It is where we spend a majority of our time, where we get our income and often where we make our friends. Having a fulfilling job can be good for your mental health and general wellbeing, but it’s not always easy to bring your “A” game when you feel stressed or unsettled. In this session we will explore techniques and strategies to combat mental fatigue, stress and optimizing your performance in the workplace.
Michigan ATHENA Programming
Supporting and Developing Emerging Leaders Through Innovative and Thoughtful Dialogue and Engagement
Michigan ATHENA serves as a statewide organization to develop, support and honor women leaders and those who inspire to reach their full potential.
Michigan ATHENA’s mission:
- Provide leadership development and mentorship opportunities to empower women
- Develop a statewide network of business leaders invested in leadership diversity
- Assist local programs in building a strong sisterhood of support, peer collaboration and a foundation to grow the ATHENA brand
The ATHENA Leadership Model identifies eight distinct attributes that are reflective of women’s contributions to leadership: living authentically, learning constantly, advocating fiercely, acting courageously, fostering collaboration, building relationships, giving back and celebrating.
Together we think bigger, provide opportunities to share expertise, enhance skills through tangible learning and build strong life-long connections.
The Michigan ATHENA program is proudly administered by the Michigan Chamber of Commerce.
