The State of Michigan Business – Economics + Elections
The economic climate of both Michigan and the U.S. are intrinsically intertwined with our state and country’s elections. This virtual event will provide a timely, hot take as subject matter experts help break down voting results just two days after a consequential 2024 Presidential election and numerous legislative races across our peninsulas. We’ll examine how those results – coupled with key factors like sentiment, inflation, workforce, and more – are shaping the 2025 business outlook. This will be a “don’t miss” for Michigan employers and community leaders.
MiBiz360: Talent & HR Summit
A premier HR and talent event designed to bring together together thought leaders, industry experts and HR professionals at all levels to explore the dynamic landscape of human resources and the fast evolving business landscape. This day-long summit is dedicated to unraveling the latest talent attraction, retention and development trends, strategies and innovative practices shaping the future of work. Session topics and tracts to include labor issues and DE&I.
Chamber Day
New perspectives, challenges and opportunities will headline the Michigan Chamber’s annual Chamber Day. This unique event – the Chamber’s spin on a “lobby day” – will bring together business leaders, government affairs professionals and local and regional chamber of commerce professionals to interact with policymakers about key issues facing Michigan employers and communities while exploring what’s next for our Great Lakes State.
Michigan ATHENA Series
The ever-popular Michigan ATHENA Series is an opportunity for professionals throughout Michigan at all career levels to learn, collaborate, network, and hone leadership identity and skills through free virtual events. Plus, building on the success of the inaugural 2023 Leadership Summit, an in-person event will take place as well. Programming is built around the ATHENA Leadership Model, which identifies eight distinct attributes that reflect women’s contributions to leadership: living authentically, continually learning, advocating fiercely, acting courageously, fostering collaboration, building relationships, giving back, and celebrating.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Series
This free-to-attend virtual series on diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) seeks to encourage, support and educate. Through meaningful conversations and clear opportunities for action, participants will gain a better understanding of the business case for DE&I, hear unique perspectives and experiences as well as identify ways DE&I can help foster growth, innovation and resiliency.
