Join us for another in-demand Sustainability Summit, one of the Michigan Chamber’s key Signature Events, being held virtually this year on Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 9-11 a.m. This event connects Chamber members with leading clean energy and sustainability thought leaders while covering the biggest current and emerging topics.
This year, the Summit will be broken into two panels.
- First, experts on federal climate change, clean power and the environmental policy will provide updates and insight on some of the major happenings in Washington D.C. We’ll explore the top regulatory issues that can impact the business community as well as what to expect for the remainder of the Biden Administration’s first term and efforts to pursue a climate change agenda.
- The second panel will focus on the importance of infrastructure and attaining a more sustainable future, with top industry leaders sharing their strategies and goals for reducing their carbon footprint. Hear from diverse sector viewpoints, varying from oil and gas to renewable energy production and beyond, on how companies are approaching the clean energy transition.

Additionally, a follow-up, in-person event on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the Michigan Chamber headquarters in downtown Lansing will offer resources to members interested in developing a company ESG plan. This ESG clinic will help answer some fundamental questions about what an ESG plan could look like to small and medium-sized businesses just getting started, and even large businesses that may already have an ESG plan and are looking for additional or better execution or design ideas.
