2024 Chamber Day at the Capitol is the place to be

What’s happening: The always popular annual Chamber Day event – Tuesday, May 14 –promises to be fast-paced and chock full of the latest policy and political happenings and predications for 2024.  Hear from and interact with leading lawmakers on the key issues facing Michigan employers and communities as well as connect with fellow business leaders.

What’s new: Legislative leaders from both sides of the aisle in the Senate and House of Representatives are now officially confirmed to speak.

  • Discussion with Democratic Leaders will feature the majority party in charge with Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks and Senate Majority Floor Leader Sam Singh with their counterparts House Speaker Joe Tate and House Majority Floor Leader Abraham Aiyash.
  • Republican Leadership Roundtable will feature Senate Republican Leader Aric Nesbitt and Senate Republican Floor Leader Dan Lauwers along with House Republican Leader Matt Hall and House Republican Floor Leader Bryan Posthumus.

There’s more: Added this year is “Donuts Under the Dome” – a special networking opportunity with legislators from across the Great Lakes State and administration officials from the executive branch and state departments from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
