Ideal for hybrid or remote employees!
Although digital posters are not mandatory in Michigan for remote and hybrid employees, the Department of Labor strongly urges employers to provide a digital copy for those employees who do not come into the office daily.
- Please note: Providing a digital version of the poster promotes transparency with your employees. However, it does not meet the State of Michigan requirement for hard copy posters. You are still required to post hard copy posters in your place of business.

Yes, if your business has at least one employee, you are legally required to post labor law posters.
Here’s what you need to know:
Placement: The posters must be in a conspicuous and accessible location where all employees can easily see them. Think break rooms, common areas, or hallways with high foot traffic.
Multiple Locations: If you have multiple worksites or facilities, you’ll need to display a poster at each one.
Labor law posters can change fairly frequently, but there isn’t a set schedule for updates This happens because they reflect new laws or regulations passed by federal or state agencies.
Changes for 2026 are still being finalized so the 2025 version of our labor law posters is still compliant.
The Department of Labor encourages providing electronic versions of labor law posters for remote employees. However, this doesn’t eliminate the requirement for physical posters.
Shipping and handling is $10.50 for the first poster and $2.50 for each additional poster at the same address, with a maximum of $25 for 20 posters. For very large orders, there is a $25 charge for each additional 20 posters ordered. In addition, the Michigan sales tax of 6% is applied.
As of 4.2.2025, the “Resources for Michigan Veteran’s” poster became mandatory in Michigan. This separate poster, which keeps you compliant, is included in an annual Michigan/Federal poster subscription at no additional charge.
