Given the new Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) Emergency Order and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Epidemic Orders, employers are encouraged to review and modify their COVID-19 policies and procedures, including their COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan. These items should be updated to ensure compliance with the newest public health orders and guidance.
MIOSHA’s sample Preparedness and Response Plan for low and medium risk employers can be found here. In addition, Bodman’s Workplace Law Group drafted sample plans for Michigan Chamber members.
