What’s happening: A new webinar series focused on childcare and workforce solutions is launching June 3 for Michigan employers and HR leaders.
- Hosted by Pulse at the W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research and the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MILEAP), the series will explore practical employer strategies and policy tools.
Why it matters: Some of Michigan’s workforce challenges are increasingly tied to child care access and affordability. The Michigan Chamber’s Untapped Potential research report report highlighted how barriers facing working parents impact talent attraction, retention and labor force participation as well as our economy.
