Unsure About the 2022 Ballot Proposals? Here are Resources to Help

Advocacy News – Oct. 19, 2022

This fall, Michigan voters will be faced with a long ballot as they weigh in on numerous state, congressional and local races. As is common in election years, Michiganders also will be asked to consider statewide ballot proposals – this year, there are three.

Do you remain unsure about the details or how you might vote?  Check out these non-partisan analyses from our friends at the Citizen Research Council (CRC) on Proposals 1, 2 and 3:

  • Statewide Ballot Proposal 22-1: “Term Limit Reform and Financial Disclosure.” Check out the CRC’s analysis of this proposed amendment to the Michigan Constitution and read why the MI Chamber supports Proposal 22-1.

  • Statewide Ballot Proposal 22-2: “Promote the Vote 2022.” Read here for details on this proposed amendment to the Michigan Constitution. The Chamber has not weighed in on Proposal 22-2.
