Can Employees Avoid Work, Avoid Discipline and Get Paid?

Employers are reporting severe staffing shortages due to COVID-19.  Enhanced and expanded unemployment benefits and protections against discipline for failing to return to work have left employers searching for strategies to build or maintain staffing levels.  Whether you are operating as an essential business now or planning to reopen once the “Stay Home” Order lifts, you’ll need to think through these staffing challenges.  This webinar with the attorneys from Bodman’s Workplace Law Practice Group will be interactive, so please come prepared with questions.  This webinar will be recorded and available on-demand on the Chamber’s website shortly after live webinar.
