The state’s Motor City will be hosting the global TED Countdown Summit – the first issue-specific TED focused on environmental topics and the ideas, tools and partnerships that can bring us together – July 11-14, 2023.

Does your company or organization have a strong interest, idea or innovation in the sustainability, electrification or carbon reduction areas?

This Summit may be for you. As a Michigan Chamber member, you’re invited to express your interest in attending by June 2. If TED is able to offer you a spot, you’ll be notified and sent information to register.

The three-and-a-half-day event is invite only and limited to 700 business, community and next generation leaders, policymakers, scientists, and more. It includes a variety of both mainstage and breakthrough sessions, 40+ TED talk, a focus on business initiatives, offsite visits, and networking opportunities.

Themes include:

  • The state of science + progress – where are we on environmental indicators and how does this reframe our understanding and actions?

  • Bridging divides – how do we find unity and make progress despite our differences?
