State to Offer Remote Work Q&A Webinar Monday

The State of Michigan is offering a live virtual event on Monday, Nov. 16 from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. to provide businesses with information and updates on remote work policies and workplace safety.

Sean Egan, Michigan Director of COVID-19 Workplace Safety, will be answering workplace safety questions related to the remote work policies outlined in the MIOSHA Emergency Rules,state expectations and health and safety requirements.  The webinar also will cover the new State Emphasis Program (SEP) announced Thursday, which is focused on office settings and will include inspections, citations and penalties.

To join the state’s webinar via Microsoft Teams, click here just before 2 p.m. Monday. No registration is required, but please note this event is not controlled or hosted by the MI Chamber (i.e., it is hosted by the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity [LEO]).
