What’s happened: A few weeks ago, the Michigan Chamber covered a hot topic related to the Biden Administration’s efforts to “march-in” and seize business patents if the federal government views a product as too costly. The MI Chamber has has conversations with national stakeholders to ensure this damaging policy does not become final.

What’s next: On the Chamber’s MI Business Matters Podcast, Chamber staff sat down with the Vice President of the U.S. Chamber’s Global Innovation Policy Center, Brad Watts. Brad oversees the national Chamber’s Business Alliance to stop Innovation Confiscation Coalition (BASIC) to fight the looming policy change.
