Meet the Candidates: MI Chamber launches special 2026 election series

Advocacy News – Aug, 21, 2026

What’s happening:  With the November election approaching, the Michigan Chamber is launching “MI’s Future in Focus: A MI Chamber Special 2026 Election Series,” bringing Chamber-endorsed candidates in some of Michigan’s most consequential races directly to members for a series of virtual conversations.

The sessions will offer a closer look at the candidates, the roles they’re seeking and the issues shaping this fall’s election and our state’s direction.

Who’s on deck so far:

  • Sept. 11 | 11 am: Tony Forlini, candidate for Secretary of State
  • Sept. 14 | 1 pm: Doug Lloyd, candidate for Attorney General
  • Sept. 28 | Noon: Hon. Casandra Morse-Bills and Hon. Michael Warren, candidates for Michigan Supreme Court

Why it matters: These statewide offices can have far-reaching implications for Michigan’s economy and business climate – from the administration of state government and enforcement of laws to the legal and judicial environment employers operate in.

The bottom line: All four candidates have earned the Michigan Chamber PAC’s endorsement. This members-only series gives you a seat at the table – to ask questions, hear directly from the candidates and gain firsthand insight into their priorities and approach to the offices they’re seeking that you can’t get from a campaign ad or soundbite.
