Helping communities impacted by Hurricanes Helene, Milton

Recovery efforts are underway following the devastation of Hurricane Helene and what’s to come with Hurricane Milton. Response is ongoing with federal, state and local agencies helping rebuild and aid affected communities.

How you can help: With the help of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, here’s a compiled a list of resources for businesses looking to support communities in the aftermath of Helene and Milton:

  • Red Cross: Donate to support those affected by the hurricanes. 

  • United Way: Donate to the United Way of Asheville, NC and Buncombe County.

  • Asheville Area Chamber Business Support: The Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce Community Betterment Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, has created a special fund to support Asheville and Buncombe County businesses. Donate here.

  • The Florida Disaster Fund is the State of Florida’s official private fund established to assist Florida’s communities as they respond to and recover during times of emergency or disaster. Donate here.
