Help connect your employees with a meaningful way to serve as election poll workers

What’s happening: With the November election approaching, local clerks across Michigan continue recruiting poll workers to help staff early voting and Election Day.
  • The Michigan Chamber Foundation’s nonpartisan Support MI Clerks initiative is making it easy for employers and organizations to help connect more Michiganders with opportunities to step up, give back and serve their communities.

Why it matters: Poll workers play an essential role in helping voting and Election Day run smoothly. It’s a meaningful way to get involved close to home, learn more about the election process and contribute directly to their communities – while being trained and paid for their service.

Bring us to your workplace: Have 10–15 minutes at anupcoming staff meeting, lunch-and-learn or other gathering? We’ll do the rest. The Foundation is scheduling free presentations – virtually or in person – that explain the need, what serving involves and how employees can sign up in their own communities.

Other easy options: A presentation isn’t the only way to participate. We can provide newsletter content, posters, FAQs, informational materials or other ready-to-use resources tailored to your audience.

Get involved: Request a presentation or tell us how we can help your business or organization share this opportunity by filling out this quick and easy form or contacting Dan Papineau.
