Employer Applications Being Accepted for State Workforce Training Grants

Michigan employers looking to take advantage of the Going PRO Talent Fund program can now apply to a share of at least $40 million in competitive training funds available to Michigan businesses. Acceptance for applications began on Sept. 30.

The Going PRO Talent Fund helps individuals secure employment, industry-recognized credentials and strong wages by providing training grants to Michigan businesses to support employees in high-demand, skilled trades industries.

Going PRO Talent Fund provides grants to assist in training, developing and retaining current and newly hired employees.

The application period ends on Oct. 28, and selected applicants will be announced in December 2021.
