As the head of business services, Terese oversees the labor law notices program and sales of the Employment Law Handbook. She also assists Michigan businesses in meeting their export needs by certifying required documents.  

Prior to joining the MI Chamber, Terese spent her 30-year sales and marketing career in the hospitality industry. Previously, she has won the Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE) Supplier of the Year award, the Michigan Meeting Professionals International (MMPI) Supplier of the Year award and the MMPI President’s award.  

Terese holds a B.S. in hospitality management from Michigan State University. She has earned professional certificates as both a certified meeting professional (CMP) and government meeting specialist (GMS). Additionally, Terese serves on the Board for the Michigan Chapter of the 
Society of Government Meeting Professionals (MiSGMP), as well as volunteering extensively with the MSAE.  

Her favorite part about working at the MI Chamber is the opportunity to help MI businesses succeed. She adds, “We have the best customers. I love talking with them every day and hearing their stories.”
