Tammy joined the Michigan Chamber in August 2026 as events manager, where she develops programs and experiences that bring together members, Michigan’s business community, partners and stakeholders.

Before joining the Michigan Chamber, Tammy served as senior manager of events for the Blount Partnership in Tennessee, where she planned and executed large-scale community events, business programs and strategic initiatives. She also managed membership and events for the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce | Convention and Visitors Bureau, building on more than a decade of experience in chamber leadership, event strategy and member relations. She earned the Institute for Organization Management (IOM) designation and is a Tennessee Certified Chamber Executive (TCCE).

 With Michigan roots and firsthand small-business experience, Tammy brings both professional expertise and personal perspective to her role at the Michigan Chamber. She and her husband previously owned a coffee house in Frankenmuth, where she saw how meaningful relationships often begin with a simple conversation. Today, she enjoys creating experiences that foster those connections while supporting the employers and entrepreneurs who help Michigan thrive.
