As VP of membership and partnerships at the MI Chamber, Amanda leads the team responsible for membership and business solutions offered to MI Chamber members. Because she communicates with members daily, Amanda has the opportunity to understand their business needs and find partners that can offer relevant solutions. If you ask her colleagues, they may describe her as the team’s head cheerleader, often encouraging individuals to use their unique gifts to be growth-minded.
Prior to joining the MI Chamber, Amanda spent a decade in nonprofit management optimizing her servant leadership style, and 15 years in the for-profit hospitality industry in operations and business development.
Amanda holds a B.A. from The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. She is a winner of the Emerging Profssional of the Year award from the Michigan Society Association Executives (MSAE). She is also a Board member of the Association of State Chamber Professionals (ASCP) and is active in her church community.
Her favorite part about working at the MI Chamber, other than knowing the team works each day to advance the MI Chamber mission, is meeting Michigan business leaders from all over our state — each has a passion, a leadership strategy and a story to tell. She loves connecting leaders where their passions intersect; from the U.P. to the west coast to SE Michigan and everywhere between.
