Michigan income tax proposal would hurt thousands of businesses, analysis says

LANSING — A graduated income tax ballot proposal would make Michigan’s potential top rate, 9.25%, one of the highest among states and hurt tens of thousands of pass-through businesses, according to an analysis released Wednesday.
