Michigan Chamber announces additional 2026 endorsements following August primary

The Michigan Chamber of Commerce today announced its latest round of endorsements for the November general election, backing Judge Casandra Morse-Bills for the Michigan Supreme Court along with 12 additional candidates for the Michigan House and Senate.

Morse-Bills joins Judge Michael Warren, whom the MI Chamber previously endorsed for the Michigan Supreme Court, rounding out the association’s endorsements for the two seats on the Court up for election this November. The Chamber recognizes the critical role Michigan’s courts play in upholding the rule of law and providing the fair, consistent and predictable legal environment essential to public confidence and the state’s long-term success.

The endorsements follow Michigan’s Aug. 4 primary election and build on the Chamber’s earlier endorsements in state legislative, statewide and congressional races.

“The decisions voters make this November will help shape Michigan’s direction for years to come – from our economic competitiveness and tax and regulatory climate to the ability of businesses to invest, create jobs and build for the future,” said Jim Holcomb, Michigan Chamber president and CEO. “We’re proud to support candidates who understand the importance of free enterprise and private-sector investment and who are willing to engage thoughtfully, work collaboratively and pursue practical solutions to the challenges facing our state.”
