Voting Records

The Michigan Chamber monitors how each of the state’s 148 lawmakers vote on critical issues affecting Michigan’s job providers and the state’s business climate every two-year legislative session. Through this tool, the “Job Provider Index; Legislative Voting Record and Competitiveness Scorecard,” the Chamber reviews the voting records of incumbent legislators to determine if the Chamber will endorse them for office. Our commitment has been – and remains – focused on pragmatic policy and problem solving.

This biennial voting guide is also intended to help our members be actively involved in the legislative and political process.

The Chamber’s 2021-22 Index was released in June 2022 before the upcoming primary and general elections. We hope you find it a valuable resource, both as a voter and as business leaders.
