Voting Records
The Michigan Chamber monitors how each of the state’s 148 lawmakers vote on critical issues affecting Michigan’s job providers and the state’s business climate every two-year legislative session. Through this tool, the “Job Provider Index; Legislative Voting Record and Competitiveness Scorecard,” the Chamber reviews the voting records of incumbent legislators to determine if the Chamber will endorse them for office. Our commitment has been – and remains – focused on pragmatic policy and problem solving.
This biennial voting guide is also intended to help our members be actively involved in the legislative and political process.
2026 Michigan Chamber Endorsements
The Chamber supports candidates who understand the importance of free enterprise and are committed to a strong, competitive Michigan while being willing to engage thoughtfully, work collaboratively and pursue practical solutions to the challenges our Great Lakes State faces.

2025-26 Job Provider Index
The Chamber’s 2025-26 Job Provider Index was released in June 2026 before the upcoming primary and general elections. We hope you find it a valuable resource, both as voters and as business leaders.
