Adam has been at GM for 36 years, starting as an intern at GM Design in their Strategic Planning group while getting his BSME from MIT. He joined GM Design fulltime in 1986, and four years later received his MBA from the Harvard Business School. In 1999, he joined GM’s newly formed Competitor Intelligence team, and has been Associate Director of that group since 2009. He served as president of GM PLUS, GM’s employee resource group for LGBTQ and allied employees, from 2006 to 2021, and attended Stanford’s Graduate School of Business’ inaugural LGBTQ Executive Leadership program in 2016. Adam lives with his husband Richard in Royal Oak, where they enjoy their collection of classic cars.
