Zach Rudat

Director, Legal Reform

(517) 371-7684

As director, legal reform, Zach heads efforts to improve Michigan’s deteriorating legal climate through meaningful legislative reforms and help boost our state’s economic competitiveness. He joins the MI Chamber with more than 10 years of experience in state policy, political and advocacy work — including various roles in leadership offices of the MI State House of Representatives.

Zach holds a bachelor’s degree in political science, with a minor in public relations from Michigan State University and was a member of the Student Leadership Academy during his time at Lansing Community College. He is a 2025 nominee for the Lansing Chamber’s 1o Over the Next Ten Awards.

He currently serves as a Clinton County Commissioner and a member of the Knights of Columbus. His favorite part about working for the MI Chamber is the opportunity to advocate on behalf of Michigan job providers — big and small.
