The Reopen Michigan Safely coalition is growing and making an impact.
While it’s encouraging that Gov. Whitmer is responding to our coalition message, rather than move to revisit or loosen the MIOSHA Emergency Rules (“Rules”) prohibiting most in-person work, the administration has announced the creation of a workgroup and standard advisory committees to “study” the issue. Furthermore, it is concerning that the workgroup making recommendations on whether immediate changes to the Rules are needed does not currently have any small business representation. #EndTheOfficeBan.
