In August of 2014, voters approved Michigan’s Personal Property Tax Reform Law. Parts of that law are effective now, and other parts phase in beginning 2016. Join us for this 60-minute webinar to learn how the new rules work and how they apply.

Topics to be covered:

  • How manufacturers may still pay personal property tax (it is complicated).
  • How to apply the rules to determine how much of the exemption you can claim.
  • How the physical layout of your company facilities may dictate whether you qualify.
  • How your real estate property classification affects your ability to save taxes under the new law.
