The U.S. Chamber’s Public Affairs Committee is the primary policy-originating body for the U.S. Chamber in the area of public affairs and the national political program. Members of the committee determine the U.S. Chamber’s involvement in federal elections and represent the business community’s interest in the candidate endorsement process.
“Rich Studley is a long-time friend of the U.S. Chamber and we are honored to have his counsel on the committee,” said Rob Engstrom, senior vice president and national political director of the U.S. Chamber. “In today’s economy, we need leaders willing to represent their state’s business interests in the legislative and political arena. Rich has been a tireless advocate for policies that promote Michigan’s economic growth as well as candidates who uphold the free enterprise system.”
