As the Membership Development Manager, Mark works with mid-size businesses in Michigan to ensure their business interests, knowledge and perspectives are well represented. He aids in the relevant networking and fruitful connections between members, sharing best practices and innovative business solutions among members.
Prior to joining the MI Chamber, Mark has 20 years of experience in business and leadership development with a focus on the healthcare and technology fields. He is Experienced in creating business focused services, solutions and partnerships through media and experiential/educational events for Rocket Mortgage, the American Hospital Association, the American Physical Therapy Association and the Broadband Week and Telephony media networks. In his tenure, he has presented educational programs at; the IEG Sponsorship Conference, the Health Forum Leadership Summit, Association Forum of Chicagoland, Siemens Health Executive Forum, the Rural Heal Care Leadership Conference, the Pediatric Collaborative for Value Based Care and the AHA Annual Membership Meeting.
Mark holds a B.A. in advertising from Michigan State University and is a Certified Association Executive. He has done work volunteering with the American Cancer Society, Children’s Tumor Foundation, Hope for Heros, Lurie Children’s Hospital, Magic Johnson Foundation, Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, and Project Hope. Mark is a recipient of the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s “Love Our Clients” award.
