As a membership development manager, James’ main responsibilities include outreaching to Michigan businesses — ranging from 1-250 associates — who are not current members of the MI Chamber. He corresponds with business owners daily relaying messages on how the MI Chamber can protect, connect and strengthen their organizations by being pragmatic problem solvers, offering advocacy and a variety of business/HR solutions to help them achieve organizational goals.  

He holds a B.S. from Western Michigan University and a Business Solutions Professional Certification from Michigan State University. 

His favorite part of working for the MI Chamber is the opportunity to live out its mission every day. As a champion of free enterprise, the MI Chamber protects, connects and strengthens MI businesses.
