As director of learning and HR compliance, Amy is responsible for all learning opportunities that the MI Chamber offers members and nonmembers alike. This includes customized training, in-person and virtual events. She specializes in facilitating change and transition through strategic planning, executive coaching, team building and visioning.   

Prior to the MI Chamber, Amy worked at Eastern Michigan University and the automotive industry for large organizations such as Bosch, Benteler and TRW with an emphasis on global Organizational and Leadership Development. She has an extensive background in global organizational and leadership development, with an emphasis on learning, organizational development, talent and other Human Resource functions. 

Amy has a B.A. in Behavioral Psychology from Western Michigan University and an M.A. in Performance Improvement and Instructional Design from the University of Michigan. She is certified in Myers Briggs Type Indicator; FourSight Personality Assessment; DiSC and the Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team; Korn Ferry, Voices and Choices and 360; Predictive Index; WAVE / SWIFT; and Cognitive Coaching and Polarity Management.  

Her favorite part about working at the MI Chamber is the culture and positive approach to continuously strive towards continuous improvement, working with individuals who love their jobs and the organization.
