MY BUSINESS…MYSELF

For 60 years, EG Workforce Solutions has been “Helping People Succeed” by providing workforce solutions to our customers. This is achieved through our four business units that work together to learn our customer’s needs and develop solutions that meet those needs: Staffing; Search; Managerial Services; and Recruitment Process Outsourcing. Helping all of our customers succeed is why we come to work every day.

I am a native of Southwest Michigan, attended Michigan State University and have been with EG since 1987, serving as CEO and President since 1998. I feel it is important to develop and support people and initiatives that improve workplace opportunities as well as the quality of life for all Michigan residents. In connection with this, I am pleased to be on the CEO Leadership Council of Talent 2025, a West Michigan initiative.

GREATEST CHALLENGE

In this very tight labor market, we recognize that our candidates are also our valued customers, so we have moved from being recruiters to talent acquisition experts. By employing technology, grass roots efforts, high touch and engagement with our candidates, we are able to provide measurably better people to our customers.

GREATEST OPPORTUNITY

There is a huge demand for great talent  across the entire country. By deploying new recruiting technology, AI and data analytics coupled with high touch human interaction, we set ourselves apart to all of our customers, including our candidates, field associates and clients.

WHY I BELONG TO THE CHAMBER

The Michigan Chamber is a strong advocate for businesses in Michigan. They are a voice that positively impacts legislation, regulations and policies that effect the business environment in Michigan. The Chamber also does a great job of providing education opportunities to its members on a wide range of topics.

WHY WE ARE INVOLVED

EG is supportive of the Michigan Chamber’s mission. We are fortunate that our CFO, Linda Miller, has served on the Chamber Board for the past several years as well as our Human Resources leader previously serving on the Health and Human Resources Policy Advisory Committee. Their involvement has helped keep EG aware of the changes that might be taking place in Michigan and their potential impact on us and our customers.
