“As a small business providing janitorial services to factories, private schools and private businesses in Lansing and Owosso, having an advocate with state government is everything,” said Roy Bull, President of Bull Enterprises and Bull Janitorial in Holt, Michigan. “Being a member of the Michigan Chamber is the best way to get my voice heard.”
Like with many small businesses, getting the job done can quickly become derailed when a problem arises with state government," said Bull. Bull Enterprise is a family-owned business that started 29 years ago by Roy and his wife. Their focus was small home improvement and maintenance business that morphed into a janitorial company focused on commercial customers.
“Three years ago we had an issue with the State of Michigan," noted Bull. "It was an accounting error that we were trying to resolve, without any success. That’s when we turned to the Michigan Chamber for help. The Chamber immediately listened to our concerns, and our frustrations, and put us in touch with the right people to resolve the issue. Through the efforts of the Michigan Chamber we were able to get the error fixed.”
“The Michigan Chamber was a great advocate for us," said Bull. "Now, I’m the biggest advocate for them."
