MY BUSINESS ... MYSELF

Rowleys Wholesale is a third-generation family-ownedand-operated wholesale distributor of automotive and industrial bulk lubricants, washer solvent, tires, equipment and numerous products specific to the automotive repair shops, dealerships and quick lube industries. I joined the family business in 2000 after working in the banking and sugar beet processing industries. In 2016, we celebrated our 95th year in business.

GREATEST CHALLENGE

The two major challenges that we face are government regulation and job recruitment. I firmly believe government needs to prune the tree of existing regulations that make it challenging for businesses to grow. With Michigan's unemployment rate being one of the lowest in the nation, finding employees can be challenging - especially when looking for young talent.

GREATEST OPPORTUNITY

Throughout the past 95 years, we have watched the Great Lakes Bay Region grow and thrive in new, diverse ways . We have witnessed firsthand the Midwest region become a healthier economic system. Michigan is moving - and in good ways.

WHY I BELONG TO THE CHAMBER

The Chamber has a long history of working to educate those in elected office by using data-based research to make sound decisions that will help Michigan grow its business base. I have worked with the Michigan Chamber tor more than 25 years, and they are the best of the best in representing Michigan businesses.
