The Michigan Chamber of Commerce today announced its endorsement of Jack Bergman for U.S. House. Bergman is seeking election to represent Michigan's 1st Congressional District, which includes the entire Upper Peninsula of Michigan and 16 of 21 counties of Northern Michigan in the Lower Peninsula.
"We are excited to announce the Michigan Chamber endorses Jack Bergman for Congress," said Michigan Chamber President & CEO Rich Studley. "Jack Bergman is an entrepreneurial leader who has had successful careers in the military and business. Jack is also strongly committed to working as a member of Congress to help create jobs and balance the federal budget.”
“Jack Bergman is a conservative outsider who is running a positive campaign focused on his common sense approach to governing and a bold vision for America,” noted Jim Holcomb, Senior Vice President for Business Advocacy & General Counsel for the Michigan Chamber.
“As a U.S. Representative, Bergman will lead the charge to keep our families safe, reduce the size and scope of government, and empower entrepreneurs to create the jobs that will grow our economy,” added Holcomb.
“Jack Bergman is a straight-talking Marine Corps general,” noted Studley. “If you want change in Washington, DC, it’s time to send a marine who will get the job done for Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.”
“We are proud to endorse Jack Bergman for Michigan’s 1st Congressional District,” Studley concluded.
