In Loving Memory of Tina Droscha

I received the news today,
That a beloved colleague and friend had passed away.
With a heavy heart I said a prayer,
“Please, Lord Jesus, keep Tina forever in your care.”

I asked “Dear God, why now; in this way?”
He responded, “Her task here was completed this day.”
“She did all that I asked of her, and even far more,
For she went about life sharing the Word of the Lord.”

As He reached out his hand,
Tina let go,
For with Him, in His arms,
She would hurt no more.

A very special lady with unwavering faith,
Tina took far less than she ever gave.
All who met her, will be forever changed,
For she taught us how to live life rather than wish it away.

From now on,
As I look to the sky,
I know an angel sent from Heaven,
Will be walking by my side.
