Union-Driven Recall Efforts an Unneeded Distraction for Michigan Residents

Now is not the time to turn back the clock to the days of endless partisan bickering and legislative stalemate. But, unfortunately, that is exactly what the teacher unions are attempting to do in their efforts to recall duly-elected lawmakers. 

In today's edition of The Detroit News, Michigan Chamber President & CEO Rich Studley and Michigan Association of REALTORS® CEO Bill Martin note: "Neither of our organizations has participated in gubernatorial or legislative recall campaigns to settle political scores. This is a line responsible organizations should not cross. Michigan's government employee unions are playing with fire."
