The Michigan Chamber of Commerce today announced its endorsement of candidate Joe Graves in his bid for election to the 51st State House District in Genesee County. The special election will be held on Tuesday, February 28.
“Joe Graves has the background and experience to help keep Michigan on the path to economic prosperity,” said Michigan Chamber President & C EO Rich Studley. “He is a pro-jobs, pro-taxpayer and pro-reform candidate, and the Michigan Chamber is pleased to endorse him in this special election.”
An army veteran, Graves spent 32 years working as an engineer for General Motors and now works as a small businessperson. He has experience in both township and county government.
“As a small businessman, Joe Graves understands how regulations can slow down progress and he is committed to making Michigan prosper,” said Jim Holcomb, Senior Vice President of Business Advocacy for the Michigan Chamber. “If elected, Joe Graves plans to make his job as a state representative all about bringing jobs back to Michigan.”
A 60-second radio spot, paid for with regulated funds by Michigan Chamber PAC III, will begin airing on Monday, Feb. 6th.
