Special Event: Michigan Climate Change Dialogue To Be Held May 19 at Michigan Chamber in Lansing


The Michigan Chamber, in coordination with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will be holding a special joint meeting of its Environmental Quality and Energy, Technology & Telecommunications committees to discuss Climate Change in Michigan. The meeting will take place on May 19, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Michigan Chamber headquarters in Lansing; lunch will be served.

The session is intended to open discussion on climate change, cap & trade issues, and comprehensive energy reform and how these topics will affect doing business in Michigan.

  • Living in a Carbon-Constrained World: The Potential Cost of Future Legislative Action on Michigan's Economy

  • Our Energy Future: The Role of Nuclear, Clean Coal and Renewable Energy Sources
  • Where Do We Go From Here?
