Policy & Politics

Grassroots Action Guide

Communication with policymakers is a crucial part of the political process. Effective lobbying can help shift the direction of a debate and dramatically impact the outcome of a vote.

The Michigan Chamber of Commerce is on the job every day, standing up for job providers and their employees. No advocacy group is more effective than the Michigan Chamber of Commerce. In separate, independent surveys of lawmakers, executive branch officials, lobbyists and association executives, MIRS and Inside Michigan Politics newsletters consistently have ranked the Michigan Chamber as the most influential organization in the state Capitol. Whatever the issue, the Michigan Chamber gets the job done.

There is one thing that can help to make Michigan Chamber lobbyists even more effective: YOU.  Anyone can be a lobbyist for their issue. All it takes is a person willing to step up and make a difference.
