Leadership Michigan is a leadership development program designed for current and emerging leaders to encounter first-hand the critical issues facing Michigan. The program, instituted in 1988 by the Michigan Chamber Foundation, offers tremendous personal and professional growth opportunities for participants through executive leadership development concentrations and topical discussions with leading authorities.
The Michigan Association of Chamber Professionals (MACP) is the industry resource for chambers of commerce in Michigan. Through strategic partnerships and volunteer assistance, the mission of MACP is to build excellence in Michigan chambers of commerce through organizational support for chambers of commerce, continuing education and professional development for chamber executives and staff, promotion of chambers of commerce as an industry and profession, and best practices and innovation models. Programming is designed to encourage and strengthen chamber professionals at every level to be more effective leaders in their organizations and advocates on behalf of their members.
The Michigan Prosperity Project (MP2) is built on the belief that when Michigan citizens are informed and active in government and elections, then families, communities and our state will benefit. The purpose of MP2 -- a deployment partner with the national Prosperity Project -- is to keep Michigan's working families and job providers informed and educated on the issues that most affect job creation and economic growth in our state. It provides nonpartisan information on issues, legislators, candidates and elections.
